Sometimes informally referred to as the 2012 NASCAR iRacing Drivers World Championship, the 2012 NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Championship was the 3rd season of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series. The season started at Daytona International iRacing Series on February 21 and concluded at Homestead Miami Speedway on October 2. This was the last season to utilize the Generation 5 NASCAR Cup Series car, nicknamed the COT. Drivers competed for a prize package of $19,050 (USD cash + iRacing credits), with $10,500 cash going to the champion.
Drivers
Each week, the top 43 World Championship license drivers based on qualifying times were guaranteed a place in the race field. In addition, any 3.0 or above Pro Series license drivers were also eligible to qualify for each race. If under 40 NiSWC drivers registered to race, the NiPS 3.0 or above drivers would be eligible to race based on qualifying times. This roster only contains Pro Series License drivers who successfully qualified for at least one race.
