Biography

Antonello 'Nello' Pastorino is a SimRacer from the Italian region of Molise. He began his SimRacing career in 2010 with the F1 series by Codemasters on game consoles, eventually transitioning to PC simulations in 2013 with netKar Pro. Starting in minor Italian leagues, Nello gained experience before diving into Assetto Corsa and rFactor, where he competed until 2017. He then switched his focus to rFactor 2. Alongside circuit racing, Nello dabbles in SimRallying and won the WRC 2010s league by ADC in 2018.

Pastorino’s career highlights include winning the Constructors Championship with teammate Valerio Ferraris in the 2015 Formula Pro by ADC and securing both the Teams and Drivers Championship in the 2016 ELMS by ADC. In 2019, he reached the semi-finals at the first ever Assetto Corsa Competizione SRO eSports LAN event in Monza. He has competed in high-level events, such as Split 1 of the 2021 S4 GT Challenge, Division 1 of the Virtual Endurance Championship by SRC, and the 2023 Le Mans Virtual 24h, where his team finished 8th in the GTE class.

After taking a sabbatical during the 2023-2024 season, Nello joined Sim Freem eSports in July 2024, marking his return to competitive SimRacing on rFactor 2 for the 2024-2025 season.
