History
Founded by Ruben Been quite a few years ago: mCon esports had been a very well known esports organization in the Benelux gaming scene for years in games such as Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Rocket League and Hearthstone where they have scored great succes over the years. As of September 2020 they got interested in sim racing as it was booming at the time. Eventually they decided to sign the international focussed "Team Rock Racing" in it's full to their organization with the clear goal to help this new iRacing team grow and achieve great successes in the coming years. As 2020 Season 4 started, it was clear there was succes possible in the first season under the mCon esports flag. During this first season an overall top 5 was achieved in the VRS GT Endurance Series by Pedro Picanco and Matias Pikkarainen. From there on the team started growing faster. In 2021 Season 1, day successes had been achieved, but overall result lacked due to mix roster entries to various races. But this did result in race wins in VRS GT Endurance races at the Nordschleife by Joshua Waslander and Max Hartung and at Road America by Matias Pikkarainen and Tom Salminen.
