Blocco Motore Simsports was founded in late 2021 as, primarily, an endurance racing team.
The team focus is on endurance racing competition on iRacing and fielding driver rosters with clean and consistent drivers.
Since its inception, the team has participated in numerous endurance races with a larger focus on iRacing's Special Events.
From 2023 the team expanded into other endurance race series with the goal to be a regular fixture on the best racing series.
In the second half of 2024, Blocco Motore Simsport and Owned Esports (www.owned-france.fr) created the joint-entry to iRacing Special Events under the moniker `Owned by Blocco Motore`. This marked the first foray into sim-racing for Owned Esports. On their second ever entry at 2024 iRacing's 6h of the Glen the team achieved a 2nd place finish.
Blocco Motore joined the Virtual Sports Car Association for its 2025 season, competing in the GT Pro category.
