Biography
About Elias
Elias is a Finnish iRacing driver born in 2004. Whilst he was growing up Elias had a passion for karting but do to a lack of pace and funding he had to stop. Elias then turned his attention to the world of simracing. He took part in F1 racing leagues throughout 2018 and 2019 with conserning results before shifting his attention to iRacing.
Pre GOTeam Racing
Elias previously competed for Team Wrongline and raced alongside Charlie Cowin and Jaidyn Ladic. The trio of them competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours and the Spa 24 Hours. Both of these races didn't go as planned as unfortunate techincal failures ended both of the events early for the team. Elias also participated and won the GlenRG Week 13 community race which earned him $10 in prize money.
The GOTeam Racing Era
Elias joined GOTeam Racing in August of 2020 and has since participated in the Daytona 24 Hours. As per usual this race ended in another DNF for Elias. He then took part in the Bathurst 12 Hours and finished! This was a huge achievement for Elias. He later on went to win his one and only special event with GOTeam in the 6 Hours of the Glen. Before he departed the team in September 2021 he participated in one of Sweden's top iracing leagues. He won many prizes including t shirts, a gaming chair and some car cleaning gear.
SRC Mivano Corse
Elias decided to depart GOTeam for pastures new. Joining Mivano Racing in September of 2021.
Monaco Esports
The grass is not always greener on the other side. Elias left SRC Mivano Corse and joined Monaco eSports alongside talented friends JJ Ladic and Arturo Melgar. He attempted to qualify for PESC but due to circumstances beyond his control he could not continue his qualification effort. In his time at monaco esports Elias has competed in a few endurance races alongside Monaco veteran Laurent Benso. In these races they have done a sterling job leading to absolutely spiffing results.
BMW Driver
For the 2023 season, Elias decided to become an official BMW BS+COMPETITION driver. In his first outing in the 24 hours of Daytona, Elias drove in 2nd split, winning a race he described as "boring as fuck", although he admitted he enjoyed a relaxed race. His second outing came in the BMW M SIM Cup Rd1 around Daytona, in which his shifter broke, leading to a disappointing PLast in Q, luckily, his spectacular racecraft got him up to a spiffing P2.
